The following guild will present fiber art demonstrations over the course of the weekend.
Golden Thimble Needlecraft Guild
2026 is the Golden Thimble Needlecraft Guild’s 53rd year as an independent guild in Hampton, Virginia. This year all visitors to the Demonstration Booth are invited to vote for their favorites in a gallery of needlework completed by guild members. This needlework show commemorates the Guild’s annual shows held from 1974 to 1998. The guild’s mission remains constant as a forum for learning any technique done with a handheld needle and preserving the art of needlecraft. Meetings are at 10 a.m. on the second Tuesday of the month, September through May, at Liberty Live Church, 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA 23666. Meetings consist of a business meeting followed by a needlework-related program/workshop to introduce techniques and projects. Guests are welcome to their meetings.
