I’ve been passionate about fabric, sewing, and quilting since childhood, when I first learned to sew at age nine and later discovered an ancestor’s quilt at the Smithsonian—an experience that set me on my path. A self-taught quilter, I began with a Log Cabin quilt made from books, cardboard templates, and scissors, and have been creating ever since. Inspired by nature and drawn to bright, patterned fabrics, my work blends traditional quilting with a modern perspective. For more than thirty years, I’ve taught quilting, finding as much joy in sharing creativity with students as in making my own work. My quilts have been exhibited in juried shows with the Missouri Fiber Artists, International Quilt Association, and National Quilt Association, among others. I am the author of *Dresden Quilt Blocks Reimagined* (2019) and have published several Dresden-focused patterns.
