Cindy Oravecz - Embellishments

Cindy Oravecz creates wall hangings, quilts, and clothing featuring dimensional applique using unusual ribbons, fabric, hand embroidery, trim, and embellishments. She owns the quilt and embellishment store, Quilter’s Fancy in Cortland, Ohio. She lectures about and teaches quilting and hand embroidery with ribbon, metal, beads, and fiber. Cindy is the author of four books on dimensional fabric and ribbon flowers on quilts, and the designer of the marking tools The Ruching Edge and The Mini Ruching Edge. She teaches at major quilt shows and guilds and has appeared with her quilts on HGTV.
