Donna Viau - Quiltworx

Donna Viau has spent 50 years working with textiles and 44 years teaching quilting. Her creative journey began with a childhood interest in sewing, color, and art, shaped by travels and exposure to folk culture in Hungary and Sweden. After studying graphic design and color theory, quilting became a natural fit.

In 2006, Donna founded The Masquerade Costumes & Quilts, eventually transitioning to The Masquerade Quilts & Classes, where she now focuses on quilting and education. A Quiltworx Certified Instructor since 2022, Donna teaches foundation paper piecing and a wide range of quilting techniques through in-person and Zoom classes. Her students span all 50 states and several countries.

With more than 19,500 YouTube subscribers, Donna combines expertise, humor, patience, and plenty of encouragement and, occasionally, a chocolate reward!
