Susan Edmonson: With These Hands (Full Day WS, Fri, 3/5/27, 9am-4pm)

Hands are a very important part of our creative lives! I've always been so amazed what people make with their hands. So we will trace our hands or a Childs hands, so we can embroider lots of creative stitches. We can also stitch words that are important to us. We will be stitching 3-D Stumpwork stitches to give it more dimension. Beads and charms can also be added.
All Levels

Required class kit, $35 payable to the instructor in class, includes Pattern for "With These Hands", Fabric for Hands (Cherrywood), Needles (2), Fusible, Rayon Ribbon, Velvet for Flower, Fusible Batting.

Students to Provide
Two background fabrics (I used Kaffe fabrics)
Pearl Cotton Embroidery Threads (sizes #12, #8, #5, #3). Hand-Dyed threads will be available to purchase in class.
Sue Spargo's Creative Stitch Book (available to purchase in class).
Small Embroidery Scissors and Paper Scissors.
Battery-operated light (optional).
Pencil and 8 1/2" x 11" Paper.
