Ruler Work- Circles and Curves
Full-Day Workshop
9 am - 4 pm, Friday, February 27
Learn to create curvy designs for your quilt on the home machine. Sue will have her Circle Wedge Ruler Set and “NEW” 4” & 5” Arc ruler available for students to try in class. Step by step instructions will include basic ruler work skills, ideas for using circles and arcs and adding fillers to create beautiful quilting options for your quilt project. Ruler work is an easy way to master smooth curves for many different quilting designs. Enjoy a fun day playing with these great rulers! (Please note: Some free motion quilting experience is helpful.)
All Levels
Required class kit, $25* payable to the instructor in class, includes one 18” x 18” and two 12” x 12” marked practice sandwiches, thread, and handout. *Please bring cash to pay Sue Nickels for class kit fee.
Sue’s Circle Wedge Rulers and 4”/5” Arc will be available to try in class and can be purchased. Special price for students in class: Circle Wedge Ruler Set- $50.00 and Arc ruler $20.00.
Students to Provide
*Scissors or snips for clipping threads (Curved tip snips available to purchase in class, $20.00)
*Quilting gloves (Sue likes Graberoos brand) or Quilters Fingertips- Sue uses fingers cut off of good quality kitchen gloves (Playtex or Mr. Clean)
