Ruler Work- Basic Shapes
Full-Day Workshop
9 am - 4 pm, Thursday, February 26
Play with your ruler foot and rulers to achieve easy curves and straight lines. This approach will open the doors to many new options for free motion work on the home machine. Sue will start with basic concepts, then continue with fun and creative ruler work ideas! Next, add some free motion fillers to the ruler work structure to complete the project. Students will work on a small 18” x 18” project provided in a kit. Join in on the fun in this relaxed and informative workshop! (Please note: Some free motion quilting experience is helpful.)
All Levels
Required class kit, $40* payable to the instructor in class, includes Sue Nickels Straight Line Ruler, marked fabric for top, batting, backing and thread). *Please bring cash to pay Sue Nickels for class kit.

*Scissors or snips for clipping thread (Curved tip snips available to purchase in class, $20.00)
*Quilting gloves or quilter's fingertips- Sue uses fingers cut off of good-quality kitchen dishwashing gloves.
