Hand Quilting
Full-Day Workshop
9 am - 4 pm, Saturday, February 28
Spend a fun day with Pat Yamin on Saturday 02-28-2026 learning the best and easiest way to hand quilt. Pat has been hand quilting for over 40 years and uses time honored techniques that will give you perfect stitches. In her class you’ll learn how to prepare your project - a 16” pre-marked quilting design for a beautiful pillow - and Pat will teach you how to make those tiny stitches we all adore on antique quilts This is the most relaxing class ever and when it’s over you’ll have had the best tips and techniques for hand quilting your large quilt! No hoops or safety pins are needed, because you’ve already taken the time to carefully prepare and baste your top.
All Levels
Required class kit, $25 payable to the instructor in class, includes the marked quilting pattern.
Students to Provide
2 Fat Quarters (one solid and one print)
Your favorite quilting thread
Quilting Needles (I sometimes like sharps, their thin and bend)
Thimble (if you use one)
Small Scissors
Needle Threader
