Family Tree Wall Hanging (ITH) Embroidery
Half-Day Workshop
9 am - 12 pm, Thursday, February 26

Learn how to embroider your very own family tree. This project has 16 panels, each measuring 4.5” x 4.5”, which will then be finished with a border trim. Each leaf will have a family member name embroidered on it. We will discuss the following techniques: applique, floating fabrics in the hoop, using specialty threads (metallic threads), pathing when digitizing in-the-hoop projects, piecing multiple blocks of fabric together with correct registration, and completing a wall hanging with a border and tabs.

When completed, this project will measure approximately 20” x 20”.

End of the project will require completion on your sewing machine.

*Project may not be completed by end of class. A video tutorial link will be included for viewing after event. *A required kit must be purchased for this class.*
