Advanced Foundation Piecing
Full-Day Workshop
9 am - 4 pm, Saturday, February 28
In this advanced class, we will be sewing curved seams and matching slightly more difficult than normal points. We will discuss techniques, tips, and tricks to make this a much easier process with outstanding results. The dreaded curved seams will be amazingly smooth and simple with our technique.
Intermediate - Advanced Level
Required class kit, $12 payable to the instructor in class, includes foundation for the table runner plus the pattern with detailed instructions and a Grippy Straight Edge. Please contact deb@ezpiecing.com prior to the class to reserve your kit.
Students to Provide
Sewing machine & accessories
To make the Wedding Star Table Runner, you will need:
If using Ombre Fabric for rings, 1 yard or Yardage 1/4 yard of 8 different fabrics plus 1/8th yard of 2 fabrics for ring ends.
Stars - Light and Medium 1/2 yard each
Background and Binding - 2 yards
Other supplies for the project:
backing (finished runner measures 18" x 54")
Add-A-Quarter Ruler (available to purchase in class: Add-A-Quarter Ruler - 6" - $8Add-A-Quarter Ruler - 12" - $10
Rotary cutter and mat
scissors
acrylic ruler
general sewing supplies (pins, ripper, etc.)
