Have you ever wanted to create a realistic landscape out of fabric? Then Tranquil Lake is the project for you! Not foundation pieced and no paper to pick out. Simple straight line sewing with right sides together.
Or - Did you know that 2026 is our nation's 250th birthday? Celebrate by creating this cute Patriotic Pooch! This is a great introduction to Cynthia England's Picture Piecing technique. One of her easiest designs! Not foundation piecing; no paper to pick out and sew right sides together as usual.
Please indicate your choice of project in the notes section of your registration - Tranquil Lake or Patriotic Pooch.
All Levels
Required class kit, Tranquil Lake ($38) or Patriotic Pooch ($40), payable to the instructor in class, includes pattern and all fabric needed for the wall hanging top, including borders and binding. Backing and batting not included.
Students to Provide
Basic sewing supplies: paper and fabric scissors, straight pins, seam ripper.
Around 10 ziplock baggies.
Plastic shallow lid (like the top of a plastic shoe box lid), no bigger than 11 x 16. This is for laying out and organizing the indvidual pieces.
Light to medium gray thread for piecing.
Glue Stick.
Sewing machine and accessories.
