Greenville Center for Creative Arts
Want to see more art? Look no further than the Greenville Center for the Creative Arts. Located in a former mill building, the art community has fostered a place for artists to work and partrons to be inspired. On the First Friday of every month, local artists participate in the Greenville-area free gallery crawl from 6 to 9 pm. At the exhibitions in the Main Gallery and Community Gallery, artists will be present to answer questions, lead discussions, and even sell some artwork!
With the city’s rich history in textile mills and its love of baseball, Greenville’s Fluor Field has created a place to celebrate both in downtown’s West End. Built from the areas reclaimed textile mill bricks, the stadium serves as a reminder of Greenville’s textile history. Home to the Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, the Greenville Drive, fans can catch a home game the first weekend in May to watch this beloved pastime.
Enjoy the company of wildlife from around the world when visiting the 14-acre Greenville Zoo. Visitors will be able to see their favorite animals whether it be orangutans, red pandas or lions. Falls Park on the Reedy & Liberty Bridge
Take a stroll in the heart of downtown to see the best view in the city at Falls Park and the Liberty Bridge. The 345-foot suspension bridge crosses over the Reedy River revealing the falls below and located in the middle of the popular community park. Caesars Head State Park
A top attraction of the area is Caesars Head State Park in the South Carolina Upstate. Swamp Rabbit Trail
Witness the beauty of Greenville on the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail. It’s a 22-mile multi-use trail system that connects the Greenville County with local schools, parks, and businesses. The trail is intended for individuals who wish to walk or bike along the scenic Reedy River.
