Zoom Instructions

Workshops will be conducted using Zoom. Zoom is an easy to use video conferencing program that allows for multiple participants. 

To join your Zoom workshop:
1. You need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a speaker or headphones and a camera. 

2. You will receive an emailed Zoom invitation for the workshop from Mancuso Show Management. The notification will include a link to join the workshop as well as the 9-, 10- or 11-digit Meeting ID. All most people will need to do is click on the link and enter the Meeting ID to join the workshop. 

Instructions for specific devices:
Joining from a mobile device: If you are joining from a mobile device (Android smartphone/tablet, Apple iPhone/iPad), it will prompt you to download the Zoom Cloud Meetings app from the App/Play Store. You may want to download the Zoom app prior to the start time of your workshop. 

Joining from a desktop or laptop computer: Click on the link provided in the email. When prompted download and allow the Zoom app to install. This process is easy to complete on all commonly used browsers. The example below is shown using Google, but the process is similar for all browsers. 

Google Chrome should automatically download the file and point to it as shown below. Clicking on the Zoom_launcher.exe file will install Zoom, there will be a short pause before a blue progress bar appears indicating the installation.

If an Application Launcheror External Protocol Requestbox appears simply tick the Remember my choice…option box and then click OK.

Display Name: Just before entering the meeting you will be prompted to enter a display name. This name is simply to identify you in the meeting and is not connected to any of your online accounts.

 Join Audio via Computer: Next, you will be prompted how to join your audio. Select Join Computer by Audio (TIP: by ticking the Automatically join audio by computer…” option box first, will mean you wont get prompted again in the future).
