New Workshop
Learn to make a fabric collage using Jane’s Zinnia patterns. In this 3-hour workshop, you will begin working on one 12” Zinnia from a choice of 4 similar patterns. We will discuss different ways to finish the project including hand stitching using some basic stitch patterns. You will be emailed pattern and instructions prior to class.

Students to Provide
Variety of colored fabrics in a color of your choosing. Color inspired by your scraps, my samples or a flower photograph. Fabrics of all sizes from scrap to small pieces, batiks, textures, small patterns. Variety of green scrap fabrics for the background.
1/2yd of Pellon 830 Easy Pattern foundation or similar
Small sharp scissors (I use KKB 6” perfect scissors)
Fabric Glue (i use Alene’s Tacky Glue Original), Glue applicator
Pencil, chalk marking tool or pencil, (I use Bohin chalk pencil)
Tweezers and Optional Light box or light pad.
To finish hand stitching supplies, 8 and 12 wt pearl cotton or embroidery floss
