Colorful Cows Fabric
6-Hour Workshop
10 am - 4 pm EDT, Thursday, May 11
Create a brightly colored cow collage using one of Jane’s two Highland Cow collage patterns. This is a great scrap-busting project. You will learn simple color theory, How to use value and color in your collage and how to make your own pattern. Also how to finish and stitch the quilt. This collage will be completed after class. Pattern and instructions will be emailed prior to the workshop.

Students to Provide
Variety of colored fabrics in colors of your choosing, could be a complementary color scheme. Fabrics of all sizes from scrap to small pieces, batiks, textures, small patterns, large fun prints including some black fabrics.

1/2yd of Pellon 830 Easy Pattern foundation or similar
Small sharp scissors (I use KKB 6” perfect scissors
Fabric Glue (i use Alene’s Tacky Glue Original, Glue applicator
Pencil, chalk marking tool, or pencil, (I use Bohin chalk pencil)
Tweezers
Optional Lightbox or lightpad.
