Do you find yourself stuck when it comes to choosing fabrics for a quilt? This class will take you through a step-by-step process for looking at pattern, color, and value to help you select a dynamic group of coordinating fabrics. Then, we’ll explore how to place these fabrics in a block to showcase the structure and beauty of the block, and you’ll sew the block. After this class, you’ll have the tools to choose the perfect fabrics for any quilt!

Students to Provide
A large variety of fabrics in large prints, small prints & solids. Since you will probably be doing this class from home, plan on pulling a lot of fabrics from your stash as you proceed through the worksheets.
You will also need basic sewing tools: scissors for paper and fabric, pins, thread, rotary cutter, ruler & mat.
Other: Paper (8-1/2" x 11") for printing the worksheets and taking notes, double-sided tape or glue stick,
