Ana Paula Brasil - Art Quilting

Ana Paula Brasil is an internationally recognized Brazilian Canadian visual artist, textile artist, educator, designer, thread designer, author, and creative force whose work bridges Fine Arts, Photography, quilting, and contemporary textile art. Born into a family of poets, artists, and seamstresses, Ana Paula’s love for textiles began at the age of eight, inspired by her grandmother. With a background in Fine Arts and Photography, she developed a distinctive artistic language that combines advanced textile techniques, colour, texture, movement, storytelling, and an adventurous spirit of experimentation. 

Her artistic philosophy is grounded in a simple yet powerful belief: There are no mistakes, only opportunities.
