Drapes & Folds: Creating Realistic Clothing for the Quilted Figure
6-Hour Workshop
12 pm - 6 pm EDT, Saturday, October 17
We will use various techniques to re-create the clothing worn by the subject in your photo, learning about how the shapes, positions, and actions determine the folds, bends, curves, highlights and shadows in the clothing and how to create them. We'll do a little shading and use sheers, tulle, and various values of fabric to create our effects. Provided patterns emailed to be enlarged or full-size with an optional kit will create a jacket and shirt and a skirt.

Fat quarters of fabrics in 3 values, may be blenders, batiks, or solids
Dark colored tulle
Organza
Misty Fuse
Set of colored pencils
Scissors,
Spray glue
