6-Hour Workshop
10 am - 4 pm EDT, Saturday, October 17
Create a breathtaking sunflower using Applismith™, a quilt-first fusible appliqué technique that builds stunning three-dimensional blooms. Begin with a quilt-as-you-go frame inspired by pineapple block construction, then build two rings of dimensional petals using fused fabric sandwiches and thread painting to add depth and texture. The class culminates with a woven fabric center — a truly showstopping finish that makes every sunflower one of a kind.
