You will learn to cut and sew the diamond shape used in my book, "Making the Lancaster Diamond Sampler" and add corners to make rectangular blocks. There are so many options for designing unique, scrappy quilts.
All Levels
Students to Provide
Cutter, mat, rulers: 6" x 6", 6" x 12", and 6" x 24"
Iron and mat
Sewing machine, neutral thread, 1/4" foot
Fabric scraps, strips, orphan blocks
You will be cutting strips that are 2 1/2", 2 5/8", 4 1/2", and 4 3/4" wide
Lancaster Diamond Template Set (class kit)

The workshop fee includes the $25 class kit. The Class Kit includes two acrylic templates for cutting the diamond shape and the corner for turning the diamond into a rectangle. Two patterns that feature the techniques are also included. Please note: Physical kits can only be mailed within the continental United States.
