Ankara, or African prints, elevate any quilt project. Use these bold colors and patterns as you explore a simplified method for making hexagons. Then finish your mini-quilt with slow-stitching, resulting in a trendy yet timeless look.

The required class kit includes:
- (50) 5” squares charm pack of African prints—no repeats!
- 5” round acrylic template
- Ideas and instructions for alternate projects
The $35.00 class kit is included in the workshop fee. Please note: Kits will only be mailed within the continental United States.
Students to Provide
- Background fabric, 1/2 yard (solid or subtle texture print – cream, black or beige recommended
- Low-loft batting
- 8-wt perle cotton in a neutral color—taupe, tan, cream, etc.
- Hand embroidery needle
Sewing Machine Optional - The project can be machine quilted and finished after class.
