In this class, we will create a vibrant butterfly using Posca markers. The aim is to introduce participants to the versatility of Posca markers and teach blending techniques to create beautiful gradients and colorful details. By the end of the session, students will know how to use color layering and water activation techniques to achieve stunning, high-contrast results that make your butterfly stand out.

Students to Provide
- Calico / muslin fabric
- Lineart (teacher will provide a pdf)
- Greyscale photocopy(teacher will provide a pdf)
- Color photocopy (teacher will provide a pdf)
- Brushes: firm flat taklon brush # 2, #4 and firm round taklon brush # 0 (Indicated brand: Giotto or Royal & Langknickel)
- Posca markers PC-3M (various colors, including black, rainbow hues, and white), 1 black Posca PC-1MR and 1 white posca PC-1MR
- Inktense pencils for the shadow (Antique White #2300, dark purple #750 and violet #800) and for tracing (Outliner #2400)
- Fabric eraser (Bohin, Dritz) or Derwent eraser for Inktense
- Sharpener (Kum - the red or the blue one)
- Water cup
- Paper towel to prevent excess water
- Apron or old clothing
- Teflon mat
- Light box
- Notebook for personal notes
- cutting mat to protect your furniture
- Enthusiasm and willingness to experiment with color
