Marge Tucker - Modern Improv

Marge Tucker is an international award-winning quilt artist and quilting instructor. “I started with traditional pieced quilts and focus now on abstract improvisational design in my work.”  I love teaching and my classes are based on improvisational piecing techniques.  I foster a relaxed and creative environment in my classes allowing students to explore and experiment.

Marge recently received “Best Use of Color-Innovative Quilts” at the 2022 Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival, “Best of Show” at Mancuso’s Spring Quilt Show Visuals #4, as well as the “Best Sewing Machine Workmanship Award – Modern” at PIQF 2019.
