Eileen Sullivan - Foundation Piecing

Eileen has been involved in all aspects of quilt making since the late 1970s.  She developed her method of foundation piecing in the late 1980s and currently markets her patterns under the name The Designer’s Workshop.

She has a BA in Art Education and has taught throughout the United States for guilds and national shows for the last 25 years.  Her work is in the permanent collection of The National Quilt Museum in Paducah, as well as several others.  Her quilts have been exhibited at all major shows in the U.S. as well as in France and Japan. 

Her goal in teaching is to help the student ‘explore’ ideas, not just complete a project.
