Join me for some Zen-time, in this doodle-only version of Magnificent Mandalas. Discover a variety of simple petal shapes and filler designs that can be combined and layered into intricate mandala designs. While we won't stitch on machines, I will cover mark-free tricks for transferring your mandala designs into wholecloth quilted mandalas, including cutwork reveals!!

Students to provide:

• 1-2 Plastic sheet protectors (or similar sized piece of acrylic plastic or vinyl)
• Fine-tipped dry erase marker (ie. Expo brand found in office supply stores/sections)
• 2-5 pieces of unlined paper (ie. Printer paper)
• Pencil
• 2" scrap of batting or tissue and 2-3 Q-tips to use as erasers
• Pair of Dice
• Optional: 
• Design/Drafting Tools: straight edge ruler, compass (I'll introduce you to the Dasco Pro Giant Compass with Rod and Stanley FATMAX Chisel Compass which are great for creating larger circles, both are under $10 at most home improvement stores)
• Assorted markers/colored pencils
