Quilts, old and new, should be appraised for insurance value. Written appraisals are available at MAQF by our certified appraiser who is credentialed to appraise traditional and non-traditional quilts as well as woven coverlets. Each quilt will require approximately 30 minutes for appraisal.

Hanging appraisals are also available for those who wish to have their exhibited quilt appraised. Hanging appraisal forms will be included with your competition acceptance information.

If you are interested in having a quilt(s) appraised, you must pre-register for the conference and choose the appraisal day/appointment time on this page. A ticket for the appraisal session will be included in your registration pack.

Appraisals are by appointment only.

Each quilt appraisal requires approximately 30 minutes and the fee is $60.00 per quilt.
