If you are taking a workshop with sponsor-provided Pfaff sewing machines, you must use the sponsor-provided machine and may not bring your own machine. A portion of these workshops may contain sewing machine product information.
Blue Heron
Full-Day Workshop
9 am - 4 pm, Saturday, March 1
Learn an innovative technique from an award-winning quilter while creating this beautiful Blue Heron. Not foundation pieced - only straight line sewing - working on the RIGHT side of the fabric - NO paper to pick out - And lots of cheating!
All Levels (Confident Beginner and Up)
Required class kit, $37 payable to the instructor in class, includes the pattern, all fabric needed for the wall hanging top including borders and binding. Backing and batting are not included.
Students to Provide
Personal sewing supplies - seam ripper, pins, etc.
Iron (travel iron works best, not the small mini irons on a stick)
Ironing surface - small tabletop ironing boards work well or an empty cardboard bolt from a bolt of fabric
Paper and Fabric scissors
Tray - this is for laying out and organizing the individual pieces, no bigger than 11 x 16. Don't go out and buy this.
Approximately 10 sandwich-sized ziplock baggies to separate sections.
